We bought an older home in Arlington Heights, knowing that we wanted to do extensive work on it. We decided to add on to the house and gut and re-configure much of the original house. It evolved into quite a complicated project. We contacted and got bids from a number of contractors. We decided to go with Jack at McGuinn Construction Group, and we are so happy with that choice. Jack presented us with a bid in a timely manner. He took time to go through every part of the bid, explaining each line item to us. He answered any question that we had. He left us feeling confident in his ability to take on the job.

Throughout the project, Jack was always available to us. If he did not know the answer, he would check in with his subcontractors and get right back to us. We found him to be very organized and thoughtful. He has a great attention to detail. He has an incredible ability to juggle all the balls that are in the air in a calm (and calming) way. He has a good working relationship with his subcontractors. Because of this, our addition and extensive remodeling was done in in the anticipated time line and turned out beautifully.

We could not be happier with the work and working relationship we had with Jack and McGuinn Construction. We would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends and family. (In fact, we have already done so!)
